Looters took advantage of the passage of Tropical Storm Matthew to break into the Computer Store in the American Drywall building.

Store owner, Neil Joseph, is currently counting his losses.

The intruders smashed part of the glass front of the business establishment to gain entry.

Joseph told the Times he suspects that the crime was committed by more than one individual.

He said the robbery was very disheartening and demonstrates the mind set of criminals who were bent on accomplishing their unlawful aims even as citizens were urged to stay indoors because of Tropical Storm Matthew.

Joseph has been operating his business for the past eight years.

It provides computer support and related technical services.

The business also retails computer equipment and does laminating and binding.

The Computer Store was among several business places that were targeted by thieves during the passage of Tropical Storm Matthew.
