  1. This is so sad. A young woman life taken way from her by her husband and a 12 year old daughter left traumatized for the rest of her life without a mother and a father. Does this affect you emotionally?
Perhaps we are not really seeing that men are a big part of a woman’s life and we need to start in the school to teenagers, teaching them that ‘Violence has no place in Society” and role playing. We will see so many things emerging from teenagers. Be sure that a place is reserved for them in Prison for violence and murderes cases not drop to manslaughter (by attorneys) but pay the price of your action. Who is setting the president in law for the murder of women by husbands?
Yesterday in Trinidad a family of 4 dead was a murder suicide. We also need to look at how stress is affection emotional, psychological, financial and social aspects of life. Again 2 young children lives taken away from them.
I ask for NGO’s and the true Church to intervene. I ask for legislation changes in domestic violence and laws to ensure that when couples are separated, both receive counseling including the children.
We need systems to address these things holistically. regionally and or nationally, something Caricom could look at.
Both sex suffer in silence therefore the systems must address both men and women and in addition the children.
