Jamaican Homeowner Kills 3 Armed Bandits

Jamaica Observer:–   The police are reporting that a licensed firearm holder fatally shot three men during an attempted a robbery at his home in Portmore, St Catherine last night.

A Beretta pistol with 17 rounds of ammunition was seized following the incident, which took place about 9:15 pm.

The constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) reported that the licensed firearm holder drove into the premises when he was attacked by the three men who opened gunfire hitting him.

The licensed firearm holder reportedly returned gunfire and the assailants were shot.

CCU said the four were taken to hospital where the gunmen were pronounced dead and the licensed firearm holder admitted in serious condition.

The identities of the deceased have not yet been ascertained.


  1. Chalk one up for the good guys. I wish him a speedy recovery. Grave or jail for criminals; if these bad men continue with their evil ways. They need to turn away from that criminal life.

  2. Taking lifes is not good but in this situation it was the right thing to do because if he didn’t his life would have been lost.


    Hitting the three bandits and putting them permanently to sleep, shall not only be lauded, but also speaks to a ‘…once in a lifetime coveted feat.’

    In musketry, hitting all three targets, represents ‘…Excellent Marksmanship.’

    Since ‘…Dead men tell no tale,’ someone must survive to tell the story

    For his ‘…extraordinary courage; …presence of mind and the bells that shall toll, a very speedy recovery to the victim.
