Lutheran Church Hosts Women’s Advent Service

Press Release:-Castries, Saint Lucia, November 24th, 2016: Trinity Lutheran Church is hosting an Advent by Candlelight Service and fellowship at their church in Bisee on Sunday November 27th beginning at 3:00 PM.

The women of Trinity Lutheran Church will lead worship of song and scripture. Afterwards, dessert will be served.

Advent is a time in the Christian church year to prepare for the birth of Christ. This is an opportunity to set aside the business of the Christmas season and focus on the important message that God kept his promise to send a Savior. The theme this year will be “Keeping Christ in Christmas.”

The service was written by women, for women and will be open only for women to attend. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church said, “Every year it seems to get busier and busier around Christmastime. This is a chance for us ladies to get ourselves ready for the Christmas season by putting our hearts in the right spot. I am really looking forward to it!”
