Male Shot In The Mouth, Firearm Recovered In Marigot Incident

A 21 year old male is reported to have been shot in the mouth and a firearm recovered from the vehicle in which he is believed to have been travelling on Saturday along the Marigot highway.

Police say the victim was conveyed to the Owen King European Union Hospital (OKEUH).

According to law enforcement officials, about 4.00 pm police officers attached to Marigot responded to the report of a shooting.

“A man was allegedly shot in the mouth whilst in a vehicle,”  the police said.

They also disclosed that the car had damage consistent with being in an accident, leading to the conclusion that it had veered off the road as a result of the shooting incident.
