  1. Prevention is better than cure and should be avoid for the safetyness
    of all.
This is a sad 💔 heart breaking news.
My heart goes to the entire familly,
in this moment of sorrow and grief.

  2. You see that police pickup in the pic- i bet there were a few police riding at the back of it–they do all the time. Police do quite a bit of illegal $h!t- period

  3. As far as I know and I read it. It is unlawful to ride in an open back of a vehicle unless it is retrofitted and Authorised by the Department of Transport. We too quick to pass the blame onto Authorities. Ppl must learn to take Responsibility for their own actions. Whiles i Agree we need mire Education and Enforcement but U need a Police to charge for doing such nonsense. like SERIOUSLY. Plus again the guy was drunk. Mwen meme

  4. How many persons have died in Saint Lucia by falling from moving vehicles? So if you were to ban this practice, then you may as well ban walking and driving on our roads since more persons die from doing these. Hope you get my drift.

How would our farmers commute to and from their farms. How would the police engage in their tactical operations since they are mostly seen in open back pickups during their so-called sweeps?
Accidents will always happen. Remember that.

    • Its a Disgrace in St.Lucia Stand by the Castries Craft Market and the Arcade to Witness the percentage of Workers Riding at the Back of Trucks and Pick up vans

  6. Time to outlaw this!

Riding at the back of a an open pick up /vehicle is illegal in Trinidad and several other countries. I don’t understand why we continue to allow such a dangerous practice in St Lucia.

    Time to outlaw this!!

    • it is also illegal here but the police dont enforce it reason being i was told if you coming from work very late and there is no or little public bus the van is the more used option to get home. i know it makes no sense but imagine you leaving work and you cant get bus and someone gives you a ride obviously you want to go home already and you wont let that ride go
