A massive search for several hours Tuesday failed to locate missing bus driver, Claudius Mitchel, alias ‘Words’ of Micoud.
Police say they joined in the search that began early in the morning and continued into the afternoon.
A member of the search party told St Lucia Times that three separate teams fanned out across an area from Mahaut, Micoud, to Patience, Mon Repos.
But there was no sign of Mitchel up to late Tuesday afternoon despite reports that someone had seen him at Mahaut.
According to information, Mitchel’s bus was parked in its usual place in front of his house with his wallet and cash inside.
The vehicle key and his mobile telephone were also there, a friend told St Lucia Times.
But since Saturday, there has been no sign of him.
A social media post with his photo asks anyone with information about his whereabouts to call 5206243 or 4553595.
Police say anyone with information can also contact the Micoud police station at 4563670.
