Press Release:– The administration of the Micoud Home Care Program for the Elderly would like to express sincerest gratitude to the Management and staff of Paramount Holdings and the Make it Happen Foundation for their donations of household appliances to outfit the seniors’ home.
Marguerite Emmanuel, the supervisor of the Home says that while doing her routine assessment of vulnerable homes for the caregivers program, she realized that resources were outmatched by the overwhelming need for urgent care for the elderly in the community.
She then took the initiative to rent a house and make it a home starting with six elderly persons.
“We took this space from March 2020 and have been blessed to receive assistance to make the house a comfortable home for our occupants with the generous donations from Paramount Holdings as well as the Make it Happen Foundation,” said Mrs. Emmanuel.
“We were very grateful to receive a top of the line; heavy duty industrial six burner stove from Paramount Holdings valued at ten thousand dollars ($10,000) which they donated, delivered and setup. This has made a huge difference to our daily operations of the home. The Make it Happen Foundation also assisted the Home with a new large flat screen TV, a sofa set, and three heavy duty sets of commercial-grade pans and pots.”
Mrs. Emmanuel and the Home’s occupants are incredibly grateful to Paramount Holdings and to the Foundation for their kind donations.
Mrs. Emmanuel is hoping to expand the home care programme to facilitate more persons, both the homeless and those in need of assisted living care and wishes to let persons interested in providing assistance know that she can be contacted at 286-8819.
