Micoud North MP Wishes Shooting Victim Speedy Recovery

Micoud North MP, Doctor Gale Rigobert has wished a speedy recovery to shooting victim, businessman Andrew Joseph, alias Mr. Mauwin.

Joseph is reported in critical but stable condition in hospital after bandits shot him Saturday night.

“Wishing a speedy recovery to Mr. Andrew Joseph also known as ‘Mauwin’ or ‘Maughweng.’ Get well soon,” Doctor Rigobert wrote on her official Facebook page Sunday.

Joseph,  76, is the proprietor of Andrew’s Minimart in Mon Repos, Micoud.

He was shot in the lower abdomen Saturday evening during a robbery after 7.00 pm and rushed to St Jude Hospital.

According to reports, the women fled and the bandits accosted Joseph, roughing him up and shooting him before escaping with a small quantity of cash.
