A missing 90 year old woman from Bonne Terre has been found alive in a drain in the North of the Island, persons in the area say.
Ursula Noel was discovered on her back in a ‘muddy drain’ about 9.30 am Tuesday, according to reports.
This after Gros Islet police mounted a massive search for the missing woman.
She was taken to hospital via ambulance.
But her medical condition was not immediately clear.
Noel, who lives alone, was last seen Sunday evening about 7.30 pm.
An alert neighbour raised an alarm after not seeing her and getting no response after calling on the home.
Noel is said to be very healthy and quite independent, being able to do her own shopping and other errands by herself.
A helper visits the home at least three times weekly to assist her, St Lucia Times was informed.
