A third shipment of relief supplies from Saint Lucia was Friday heading for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

“Such a great sight,” Prime Minister Allen Chastanet wrote on his official Facebook page.

Chastanet expressed thanks to all the Saint Lucians who have come forward to donate what they could.

He disclosed that the barge which was being loaded has donations from Blue Waters, the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA) and the public to NEMO Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

“NEMO Saint Lucia and our amazing Cadet Corps are working hard this morning loading the barge which is organized by the OECS,” the PM stated.

“This is the third shipment Saint Lucia is sending as thankfully we were able to send 400 cots last week and water earlier this week, ” Chastanet recalled.

“Let’s continue to give if we can in support our brothers and sisters in need. Prayers up for St Vincent,” he concluded.
