Police have arrested a mother in her fifties for attempting to smuggle ganja to her son who was at a COVID-19 quarantine facility here, it has been reported.
The incident occurred Saturday.
According to information obtained by St Lucia Times, the police searched a bag the woman had taken to the quarantine facility for her son.
They are said to have found two foil wraps containing the marijuana in the bag.

The woman was arrested and is currently in custody at the Gros Islet police station, St Lucia Times has been informed.
She is reported to be a resident of Babonneau.
