This after reports that the mother, 75, and the daughter, 47, broke COVID-19 protocols.

It comes against the backdrop of a sharp increase in COVID-19 cases locally.

Earlier this week, police summoned the fire service to take a man in his eighties to a state run quarantine facility.

As a result, emergency personnel went to a home in Castries where they escorted the elderly man to the institution.
