The mother of murder victim, Kimberly Wiliams deLeon has said that she is very unhappy with the way that the case if being handled by the police.
Mary Williams, in an interview with Hot 7 News, called on the police to provide some answers in relation to her daughter’s death.
“Give us some answers. Come out and tell us the truth – stop hiding,” she told the television channel.
“I am being told many different stories. I am not really getting the truth and even when I try to speak to the authorities about it, I am getting the run around and I don’t appreciate it,” she told Hot 7 News.
Williams declared that she she will do what she has to do for her daughter who lost her life in tragic circumstances.
The mother urged Saint Lucians to come together to take a collective stand against stamping out violence against women, according to Hot 7 News.
She was quoted as saying that while she appreciates the support she has received so far, more people need to join the fight to end violence.
Kimberly Williams de Leon was shot dead at her home in Chef Harry Drive, Morne Fortune, on October 20, 2018.
According to a police report, she was killed by a single bullet to the head.
