Saint Lucia Soca artist, Motto, has sent a relief shipment to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
The shipment consisted of 100 cases of 710 ml bottles of water.
“Water is so important for all of us,” Motto, whose real name is Lashley Wendel Winter, stated.
But he observed that in the case of Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, water has become especially important because of the fallout from the recent La Soufriere volcano explosions.
Motto noted that volcanic ash affects water sources.
Therefore, he explained that clean water, including bottled water, is important now.
He expressed confidence that the shipment of water will reach the people who need it most.
Motto said he has a number of fans in Saint Vincent & the Grenadines whom he appreciates.
“I know that the recovery efforts will be pretty fast with the help of everyone,” he stated.
