Nine People Rushed To Hospital After Minibus Accident In Castries

The Saint Lucia Fire Service transported nine people to hospital after a minibus accident at Fond Manger, Castries Tuesday afternoon.

Fire service spokeswoman, Stacy Joseph, disclosed that about 5.40 pm responders from the Babonneau Fire Station received information that the vehicle veered off the road and landed on its side.

She said the emergency responders treated all the passengers.

And they later transported the patients in stable condition to the OKEU Hospital for further medical care.

However, Joseph said the diver of the minibus refused medical assistance.
