No Serious Injuries Reported After Castries Collision

The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) says there were no apparent serious injuries after a nose to tail collision between two vehicles on Chaussee Road, Castries Saturday night.

According to emergency officials, the collision involved a car and a pickup van near the North South Enterprises service station.

Both ended up on the sidewalk opposite the service station.

The incident occurred about 7.00 pm, the officials stated.

They said an ambulance from the Castries fire station responded but a twenty-seven year old female declined an invitation to be taken to hospital.

No other individual was treated, the fire service said.

  1. Somebody needs to raise the alarm about how some of us actually get our license or are taught how to drive. Plz don’t tell me is the section of road that have a problem. Oh btw it’s not as carte blanche as “Drive with due care and Attention” or place speed bumps.
