One Man Assisting Cops In Bruceville Chopping Probe

One man is in police custody assisting with investigations into a chopping incident at Bruceville, Vieux Fort last week.

The victim has been identified as James Norlay, 36, who sustained multiple injuries after being chopped to the head, shoulder and arms.

He is originally from Desruisseaux but resides at Bruceville, according to information obtained by St Lucia Times.

Norlay was taken to hospital where an emergency official described his condition as stable.

The chopping incident followed an altercation at Bruceville, Vieux Fort on Friday of last week about 6.00 p.m, it has been reported.
