One Person In Police Custody After Millet Homicide

Saint Lucia police have appealed to members of the public with information about a Millet homicide to call the nearest police station or the Crime Hotline at 45-CRIME (4527463).

According to a police news release, one person is in custody in relation to the killing.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in Millet, Anse La Raye, about 7:10 a.m. on Monday, July 01, 2019, the release stated.

It disclosed that 40 year old Camillus Emmanus of Tete Chemin, Millet, was found in his residence with apparent stab wounds about his body.

He was pronounced dead on the scene, by a medical practitioner, the release noted.

It said that a post mortem examination is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday July 02, 2019.

Speaking to reporters Monday Creus  Emmanus, the brother of the victim, described the deceased as ‘a troublesome guy.’
