Peter ‘Ras Ipa’ Isaac is out of hospital and ‘walking unassisted’ after a male individual shot him in the leg.
The incident occurred on Tuesday on Jeremie Street, Castries.
Isaac told St Lucia Times that the OKEU Hospital discharged him on Thursday.
The President of the Vendors Association also said that the bullet had passed through his leg.
However, he disclosed that he is experiencing some pain that was nevertheless not ‘excruciating’ in nature.
And according to Isaac, since last week’s shooting incident, he has given a statement to the police.
An eyewitness who said he was with Isaac at the time the shooting took place, had told St Lucia Times that it all started with a verbal exchange between Isaac and a ‘chabin woman’ who was serving at a bar.
The eyewitness said a male individual who is a security guard subsequently intervened and became physical with Isaac, eventually shooting the Vendors Association President.
