Laminated photos of Botham Jean and five other deceased black individuals have been found hanging from a tree in Milwaukee, USA, sparking outrage.

US media reports say members of the Original Black Panthers took down the photos Saturday night.

The Panthers said hanging them on the branches of a tree by nooses was unacceptable.

In addition to Botham Jean, they included photos of Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner, Ahmaud Arbery, Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin.

Four of the six died at the hands of police.

Jean, a Saint Lucian living in Dallas, Texas, was gunned down by off duty police officer Amber Guyger on September 6, 2018.

Guyger was fired from her job, indicted for murder and sentenced to 10 years in jail.

It’s not clear who hung the photos of Botham Jean and the others from the tree or why.

Original Black Panthers of Milwaukee spokesman King Rick told ABC News 12 that it was was disrespectful not only to the memories of ‘our beloved individuals’, but to the African American community as well.
