Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre has urged churchgoers attending Sunday service and others at home to remember this country in their prayers.
“For those of us attending Mass or service today, remember to pray for our country. To those spending time at home in the word of God, I charge you with the same duty for scriptures tell us, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” Ps 109:105, KJV,” Pierre wrote on his official Facebook page.
In the post, he disclosed that he had been gifted a bible from the brothers of Gideons International, Saint Lucian Chapter.
The PM acknowledged that he will always need encouragement and fortification in the word of God as he leads this country along the path of recovery and equality.
“I will cherish this gift. Thank you, Gideon International,” he declared as he wished everyone a ‘blessed Sunday.’
