Pigeon Island National Landmark Reopens

Press Release: Following the approval by the Ministry of Health, the Saint Lucia National Trust is pleased to announce the long-awaited reopening of the Pigeon Island National Landmark to the general public from Saturday, July 4, 2020, from 9am to 5pm daily.

In addition to the national protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19, such as social distancing, wearing of face masks and hand sanitizing, the Ministry of Health has approved guidelines specific to the Landmark to keep both visitors and staff safe.

These include limits to the number of persons to be allowed into the Landmark as well as limits to numbers enjoying specific areas at any one time.  Staff will be on hand to provide further details and guidance to ensure your safety.

We are pleased that we can once again provide you with a peaceful and relaxing get away from today’s stresses.

  1. No dolphin park = no interest. Nothing to do there but look at trees. Not to mention the area outside the park is a mess. Shame. Why cant we have a dolphin park.

    • Our national landmark doesn’t need you nor your dolphin park aspirations! My family enjoys this all natural ambience…maybe you should talk your g’s who terrorize beach goers and park visitors with the noise…dust…and nastiness regarding littering habits.

  2. Totally agree Guy fawkes Trust member
It’s just a nasty place outside the park …
the park overshadowed by beach dogs and street rats And their nastiness
All beautiful landmarks destroyed by senseless idiots! It’s getting difficult to find anywhere unspoilt by noise and nastiness!

  3. That place is bad. I couldn’t find a washroom, so I had to take a dump in the corner of the ruins. That same pile still there. Nobody cleans this park. It just has nothing but nastiness.

  4. For crying out loud X-lax, you don’t poop at the ruins. just enter the sea to waist level. And move de bowel straight to sea. You de one who nasty. after you done de float’ah go out to feed de fish.
