PM Amazed At Quick, Professional Work On St Jude Hospital

Prime Minister Allen Chastanet has expressed satisfaction with the work being done on St Jude Hospital.

“Since the commencement of work on the construction of the St Jude Hospital 3 months ago, I continue to be amazed at how quickly and professionally the dedicated contractors and workers on this project have gone about executing their duties,” Chastanet wrote Thursday on his official Facebook page.

“Today, a 24 hour operation is underway at the project site, which will allow for 500 cubic yards of concrete to be poured for the main deck of the hospital,” he explained.

The PM said to allow for the timely completion of the various phases, as well as for equal distribution of employment, several local subcontractors from Anse la Raye/Canaries, Soufriere, Choiseul, Vieux Fort, Micoud and Dennery have been engaged.

“This project now employs over 300 workers from across the island,” he stated.

  1. It will be a great day when patients are moved from that doomed stadium and to a proper and modern Hospital.
I don’t care who is in power – the only power I have any respect to beside the Lord is – progress, earnings, hope.
Stagnation in any community is death. It is time [New Port] take over from the North and be a ‘Las Vegas’ South.

  2.
