Prime Minister Allen Chastanet has urged the people of Saint Lucia not to let their guard down this festive season.

The encouragement came as the country continues to grapple with the fallout from the current COVID-19 pandemic.

“Preserving your health, safety and that of your family members and loved ones is the best present that you can give this Christmas,” Chastanet wrote Sunday on his official Facebook page.

“Please remember to observe the protocols whilst you are out shopping or socializing with friends and family,” he admonished.
