PM Visits University Hospital Of Martinique

Prime Minister, Allen Chastanet, Sunday visited University Hospital of Martinique in Fort de France where he met and thanked the doctors and nurses for providing ‘ so much exceptional care’ to Saint Lucians .

A number of Saint Lucians have received treatment at the 600 bed facility.

During his visit to the medical facility Prime Minister Chastanet was also taken on a tour.

It included a visit to the floor which houses the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

He also met and held discussions with members of staff of the hospital, during which time the procedures available at the hospital were explained to him.

  1. Maybe if he hurrys up and opens up the Owen King n complete the old faithful st Jude’s, Saint lucian may barely have the cause to go to Martinique for treatment.. So enough talk, n stop messing around and playing politics with health care

  2. Mr. PM, you have failed miserably to deliver satisfactorily on the four most important issues, namely, national security, healthcare, education and the economy. Some of the secondary roads are in such unbelievably bad state of disrepair that motorists have refused to drive on them. That $ 25 000 000 that one foreign business entity was allowed to pocket could have brought so many benefits to locals. Your political photo-ops in Martinique do nothing to improve the lives of St. Lucians.

  3. Its his home town, yet the Piaye bridge is in need of new repairs. The MP for Choiseul remains silent but he will come back for another vote, (Awar, pa essi ah). You fix the bridge, you get another four years, no bridge, no vote!
Our roads are in a deplorable state, its patch, patch and more patch. The mega dump trucks have destroyed the Beausejour back road to build what was a Condo complex, now is a warehouse but we don’t a ware house, we already have the noisy Stadium and the poop factory to deal with. Enough is enough! Come and see the current state of the road first hand.

  4. I am so miserably disappointed with this administration. It seems to me all this PM does is travel on the expense of the nation. All islands are able to account for the benefits of CIP, I am still asking what has our nation benefited from it. I support the opposition totally in the vote of no confidence in this sloppy government.
