PNP meeting disrupted after woman voices opinion on Portia

ST ANDREW, Jamaica – A commotion at the People’s National Party (PNP) Women’s Movement conference forced the event to come to an abrupt halt, earlier this afternoon.

The conference which is being held at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus was halted after a woman voiced her opinion about Portia’s resignation. The woman said she would like for Simpson Miller to win the Local Government Election and then hand over the reigns of leadership to another member.

She was overheard by other party supporters who did not approve of her statement resulting in the ruckus.
