Police arrested a man Saturday evening for hosting a cockfight event at Choiseul, which a number of people attended.
The officers say they took the man into custody for hosting a mass crowd event.
And they expect that they will lay charges shortly.
The police say they have noted an increase in cock fight events in recent time.
