Police Investigate Stabbing In Canaries

Saint Lucia police are investigating a stabbing incident in the fishing village of Canaries Friday afternoon.

Emergency officials confirmed that the Soufriere fire station responded about 5.30 pm after a report was made and conveyed a male individual to the Soufriere Hospital.

The victim was later transferred to St Jude Hospital, the officials told St Lucia Times.

There are no further details at this time.
