Police: No foul play suspected in Micoud drowning

Saint Lucia Police have said that no foul play is suspected at this juncture in the drowning death of Rockbert Winelle Xavier, 20, a resident of Up the Line Micoud.

Xavier died on Sunday whilst swimming at a beach in Micoud.

According to the police, a post mortem examination conducted by Dr. Wayne Felicien revealed that he  died as a result of drowning secondary to traumatic head injury with subdural hematoma.

Relatives of the deceased reported that Xavier hit his head on a rock when he plunged into the sea.
