Police Praised After Laying Charges In ‘Love Weed’ Homicide

Police have won praise for arresting and charging a suspect in the the killing of 39 year old Neil John, alias ‘Love Weed’ of Citrus Grove, Laborie, who had been reported missing.

Teddy Victor, also known as Lagan of Testanier Highway, Laborie, was formally arrested and charged Tuesday for causing John’s death.

Police laid the charges after investigators discovered decomposed body parts last week in a bushy area of Laborie.

Ashlyn John, the sister of the deceased, praised the swift action of the police in making an arrest and charging a suspect in the death of her brother and expressed the hope that her family will get justice.

Ashlyn said she was not expecting the police to act so quickly.

She said her deceased brother was a soft spoken individual who was careful about whom he mingled with and only spoke to those he considered his friends.
