Saint Lucia police have launched an investigation into a homicide which occurred on Thursday night at Boguis, Babonneau.
The incident occurred about 10:15 pm.
According to the police, the deceased is Simon Delice, also known as Simonette, of Boguis.
A report on the incident says it appeared that Delice sustained head injuries which may have been the result of being hit by a concrete brick during an alleged argument with another man.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they have arrested a man in his forties in connection with the homicide.
