Police Probe Death Threat Against Mother Of Six

Police are investigating death threats made against a mother of six who lives in the South of the Island.

The  threats became public knowledge after the mother posted a video on social media that quickly went viral.

In the video, she  faces the camera and identifies both herself and the man who allegedly made the threats by name.

“I am frightened for my life right now,” the woman declares.

And she indicated her fear was linked to gun violence taking place in her named community.

The mother mentioned a male individual both by name and alias, asserting that he called her a police informer.

“He just frightened me – to blow up my belly. He said he is blowing up my belly -blowing up my brain,” she stated.

“Government of Saint Lucia please, I am asking for help. I need help,” the woman declares.

The 39 second video was shot against the backdrop of a galvanize fence.

The police say they received a formal complaint about the threats on Thursday.

As a result, they have launched an investigation.
