A Dennery bus driver and a female passenger engaged in a physical altercation on Friday, prompting a police investigation, reports say.
The Dennery Valley Minibus Association is also investigating the incident.
Persons familiar with the matter told St Lucia Times that it all started on Friday about 5:10 pm at Grande Ravine, Dennery.
According to them, a verbal altercation started over where the bus driver had dropped the woman – some metres away from her home.
After an exchange of words over payment, there was a physical altercation between him and the woman, it is alleged.
