Police have launched an investigation into a shooting incident at Bois Patat, Castries on Thursday evening.
A law enforcement official told St Lucia Times that a male individual was in critical condition after being shot in the chest, but could provide no further details.
Emergency personnel from the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) headquarters in Castries said they received a distress call about 6:50 pm and dispatched an ambulance to the scene.
