Police Probe ‘Suspicious Death’ Of Castries Teenager

Police have begun an investigation into what they say is the ‘suspicious death’ of a teenager at Bois Cachet, Castries.

Law enforcement officials have identified the victim as 16 year old Hasani Joseph.

Officers found him dead with a piece of rope around his neck on Friday.

According to the police, he was on his back inside his home in the doorway leading to his bedroom.

They disclosed that the teenager was a form four student at Sir Ira Simmons Secondary school.

He was last seen alive about 7.30 am on Friday, police say.
