Saint Lucia police release crime scene safety video

A new crime scene safety video has been produced by the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF).

The initiative is the brainchild of Acting Inspector of Police, Shervon Matthieu, of the Babonneau police station.

“Crime fighting is our business and for the police to conduct a proper investigation where evidence is vital, we should try our best to preserve and protect the crime scene,” Matthieu said of the short video production.

He has called on persons to share the video:

Just recently Matthieu launched a personal safety handbook, providing tips to citizens on how to reduce the possibility of being victims of crime.

For his latest project he has expressed his gratitude to the Almighty, Director and Producer of the video, Ted Sandiford, Saralee Williams, Forensic Scientist Fernanda Henry for all the help, especially with the crime scene tips, the residents of Babonneau who acted in the  short film, his colleagues at the Babonneau station, the Commissioner of Police, and members of the RSLPF.
