Saint Lucia police continue to record success in their hunt for illegal guns and ammunition.
They seized two weapons and ammunition in an early morning operation Monday in the fishing village of Anse La Raye.
Law enforcement officials say about 5.00 am they recovered two handguns and 13 rounds of ammunition when they executed a search warrant at a Bois D’Inde home.
Two males were taken into custody.
Police have disclosed that so far this year, they have recovered some 100 illegal guns and over 1,200 rounds of ammunition.
