Police update on suspected suicide at Soufriere

Police were summoned to the scene of a suspected suicide on Church Street, Soufriere, on Saturday, April 1, 2017.

Eustace Jean, a seventy three (73) year old resident of Church Street, Soufriere, was found at his residence, suspended from a rope by the neck.

He was subsequently pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.

A post mortem examination is to be scheduled for a later date.

The circumstances surrounding the death are currently under investigation.
