Prime Minister Attends Special Meeting Of OECS Authority

Press Release:-  Prime Minister Honourable Allen M. Chastanet is currently in Guadeloupe for the Special Meeting of the OECS Authority and Accession of Guadeloupe to the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) from March 14-15.

The accession of Guadeloupe comes four years after Martinique’s accession to the OECS and will take place with the signing of an agreement during the opening ceremony for the Special Meeting of the Authority on March 14th.

In addition to the signing of the agreement, the opening ceremony for the Special Meeting will involve speeches by the Director General of the Organisation, the newly elected Premier of the British Virgin Islands, the President of the Regional Council of Guadeloupe and the Chairman of the OECS Authority.

In the Prime Minister’s absence, Honourable Stephenson King, Minister for Infrastructure, Ports, Energy and Labour will serve as acting Prime Minister

  1. I have never heard the Prime Minister comes back from a meeting and outlined any achievement. Is it that he is just taking a ride and spend our money? Or he cannot understand the language spoken?
    Well this time PM tell us what you get out of this meeting for St Lucia.
    Now I know one of the 43% will come to his defense.
