‘Ras Ipa’ assault case adjourned

The assault case involving the President of the Vendors Association, Peter ‘Ras Ipa’ Isaac has been adjourned to February 3, 2017.

The adjournment was taken to allow Isaac to secure the services of an Attorney at Law, the Times was informed.

It is expected that the charges against the Vendors Association President will be read when he next appears in court.

Peter ‘Ras Ipa’ Isaac  has been charged with using threatening language and assault.

He is accused of  assaulting a contractor doing remedial work on the Vendors Arcade on October 26, 2016 at around 5:30 pm.

Prior to the alleged assault, Isaac is also alleged to have used threatening language.


He faces a fine of $1000 on each of the two charges as well as the possibility of six months imprisonment on each charge.
