And the missile-throwers damaged a vehicle.
However, no officers sustained injuries.
The incident occurred when officers responded about 8.00 pm to an after-curfew ‘carnival like’ event near a bar.
Officers identified Righteous Pascal as the bar owner.
In a press statement Friday, police said they charged him with Failing to Wear a Mask.
They also charged Righteous Pascal with Obstruction, Using Threatening Words, Insulting Words, Sale of Intoxicating Liquor and Behaving in a Riotous Manner.
In addition officers charged Righteous with violating the curfew order.
They also charged several others.
The others are Garvey Faucher, Herb Riviere, Benjamin Hippolyte, Shervon Gonzague, Leo Pascal, Vincent Pascal, Dwight Pascal, Suzette Pascal, Lexie Augustin, Jernel Butcher and Gregory Pascal.
Gregory Pascal was also charged with obstruction.
According to the police, all persons received bail in sums ranging from $500.00 to $1000.00 per charge.
