Saint Lucia businessman, Kevin Williams, is offering some high-tech options to prevent vehicle thefts, a number of which have been occurring place here recently.

Williams is the founder of Simply Innovative Solutions.

“We specialise in tracking and management systems that use radio frequency identification and blue tooth technology,” he told St Lucia Times.

The Saint Lucia businessman said the company offers a product that helps motorists to track their vehicles in real time using a mobile telephone, tablet or computer.

“You will be able to track the vehicle and know how it is being driven, if it is in park, if it is in idle – you will be able to know all of that.”

He disclosed that an additional package can even enable the owner to immobilise a vehicle.

Williams explained that his company has partnered with two overseas firms and is the authorised representative here for them.

He said his company has just completed installing tracking systems for the Grenada Port Authority.

“We offered them a bus tracking system and they are very happy with what they have currently,” Williams explained.

He told St Lucia Times that Simply Innovative Solutions is hoping to work with local insurance companies to have them offer the vehicle tracking system as a package to vehicle owners.

“It could be a deductible for customers when it comes to filing their taxes at the end of the year,” Williams suggested.

The Saint Lucia businessman can be reached at telephone number 1.758.724.3607.
