Saint Lucian Back Home From Successful Training In Japan

Press Release:-  The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Saint Lucia Office is pleased to announce the recent return of Saint Lucian Forestry Officer, Virginie Sealys, having completed an intense training in “Urban Environmental Management” in Japan.

In the course, participants from various CARICOM countries were trained to understand the importance of participation and collaboration among all levels such as national and local governments, regions, research institutes, educational institutes and private sectors in urban environmental management. Trainees also considered effective means of urban environmental management and sustainable use of resources, citizen participation in activities which are applicable to their own country.

The JICA Saint Lucia Office welcomes home Mr. Sealys and encourages him to share the knowledge which was imparted to him in Japan to his peers, as we all collectively work towards the development and sustainability of our fair Helen.
