Saint Lucian Jailed In Martinique For Robbery, Attempted Murder

A  Martinique court has sentenced a Saint Lucian national to 15 years in jail for robbery and attempted murder.

Local reports have identified him only as Kendal A.

He is 32 years old.

The court found Kendal and Martinique national Chris P. guilty in connection with the robbery and attempted murder charges, Martinique France Antilles said.

The charges arose from an incident at party in the community of Robert on New Year’s day, 2017.

Following an altercation at the party items were taken from attendees, who were later attacked.

While the Saint Lucian national was sentenced to 15 years in jail and will be banned from Martinique, his accomplice received a ten year sentence.
