Police in the US Virgin Islands (USVI)  are continuing a search for a missing 81 year old Saint Lucian national, local reports say.

According to the police, they received a report that 81 year old Michael “Dodor” Emmanuel went missing on February 19.

The Virgin Islands Consortium reported that a $3,200 reward is available for information leading to his whereabouts.

The Virgin Islands Free Press quoted police spokesman Toby Derima as saying that Emmanuel may have been seen getting into a vehicle on the day he was reported missing.

Derima also disclosed that police received one report of a sighting.

However, a family source said it was not him.

Emmanuel hails from Desruisseaux.

But he has been living in St Croix for about two decades.
