  2. You’ll don’t read so much that the information given here on historical price of a barrel of oil (all time high) is such a lie! The “all time high” you talk about and compared to 2019 (low US66) but didn’t mention 2015 when the cost of fuel was 61US (high) and lowest US31; conveniently you chose the year that the IWP administration was in office…Smh….and during that time unemployment was at a record high….etc

We all know that the price has increased but Stop playing on the minds of the ignorant giving comparative “lies” conveniently to get your point across with sympathy.

  3. Yes I agree, increases are worldwide but every other government is finding creative ways to cushion the effects on the poor, marginalized and vulnerable. What is our government doing but Pierre informing us that there is nothing that can be done. Others can do, why can’t he? In the meantime Richard, Helaire and King are filling their pockets and swelling up like pigs ready to be slaughtered for Christmas. Alva, Musa, Maundy and others are traveling the world with concubines on tax payers money and the leeches like Thaddeus and Lorne are having a ball at our expense.

      • Rex come with your facts. The governments of St Kitts and St Vincent have both removed certain taxes and levies to keep the price of gas at a reasonable rate. Grenada and others are doing similar things to keep the price of commodities on the supermarket shelves affordable. What is your argument?

    • Yes! It is funny how some are blind to the craziness happening and all they do is stand for party. We are in for some. They are living well and living the high life on our dime while we suffer. Meanwhile we fight each other while wearing party-coloured shades. Smh

  4. Employers why not allow who can work from home productively do so? Fuel savings -> less pressure on wage increases -> downward pressure on price increases. Might not be much but that’s a start.

  5. Remember when Chas won in 2016 he signed the document that was on his desk and we got the following: free gas, no visa needed to go to the Americas, 23 Islands in VF, a brand new hospital well furnished in VF, Bananas export to France. Well we need Chas again in a dream

  6. We should say no to this,” I fish for you mentality” and how about we shift to , “i provide the tools to teach you to fish mentality.”
    Brain confinement .
New and hypnotic revised edition of the game with different players.

  7. Yay!!!! A decrease of 6 cents on 20 & 22 lb cylinder respectively and 53 cents decrease on 100lb cylinder. Meanwhile gas and diesel go up on the hills of an increase in bus fares, etc next month. Let us see how bright our future looks. An nous marway wein nous caus ee parcaye tearde piess.

  8. Buddy what point you trying their, Pierre says he cannot do nothing about whats going on like he’s just in office for style, yet he and

    • Having a vehicle is considered luxury, even a cell phone or tv at your home. Our grand parents never had the time to think about this shit that happening globally. They live longer, healthier, less crime and more food on the table. What is worng going back to basics

      • Okay then, watch them get rich out of your expense while you and I pay all the extra prices with no help from government.

  9. Y’all sour salty you – know – whats really shud stop making a fool of yourselves with those idiotic political comments. Pleaae its not gaining y’all any new Supporters, people are more erudite than y’all so they see right through y’all chooppsss.

    • The people’s voice is the voice of God. They have a right to speak out as they are hurting financially and emotionally from the present economically tough times.

Even though the rising price of fuel is a worldwide phenomenon, those persons who asked for a chance to govern, have to come up with creative ideas, no matter how difficult it may be to try to ease the pain of the citizens, especially that of the most vulnerable among us.

This is a lesson. Opposing is easy, governing is hard.

  10. Chas. Why did you cause this…4c decrease in cooking gas and $2.00 on fuel. Traveling officersstick in that. The blind is leading….where is the ditch,😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

    • … the PM as clearly stated about a week ago and have many foaming at the mouth “was St Lucia any different from the rest of the world”. Everybody on this planet complaining about high fuel prices ONLY those countries that produce oil you will find cheaper fuel prices and for people in those countries are even complaining prices are still too high for them. What everyone has in common is the HIgH PRICE FOR FOOD.. The price of chicken went thru the roof, fish forget about it I don’t what some St Lucian’s going to do. Bloomberg predicts USD$ 10 per gallon for diesel by September that’s equates to $50 EC per gallon and that will be Pierre’s fault too ? Ok jackasses.
