Saltibus Man Stable After Being Shot

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting of a man from Jetrine, Saltibus in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The victim was identified as a 29 year old.

Emergency officials told St Lucia Times that he sustained a gunshot wound to the lower left arm at Jetrine.

The victim was transported to St Jude Hospital by ambulance, where he was said to be in stable condition.

The Saint Lucia Fire Service said it received a call in relation to the incident about 2:45 am Saturday.
