Jn Baptiste said they later transported the patient to the St. Jude Hospital, and handed him over to medical staff in a stable condition.

The Fire Service also responded to a report of a vehicle accident at Escap, Micoud about 5:07 pm on Thursday.

The SLFS spokesman said responders  found that a Toyota Hilux 4 door van with government registration plates, had ran off the road and rolled over.

Jn Baptiste said emergency personnel transported two males, aged 54 and 62, to St Jude Hospital.

In addition, about  9:34pm, a caller requested assistance for a house fire at Contonment, Vieux Fort.
