Sandals Resorts International (SRI) says it is thrilled to have been recognized at the prestigious 25th Annual World Travel Awards Grand Final Gala Ceremony.
According to the resort, this demonstrates the brand’s continued commitment to excellence.
“Most notably, Sandals Resorts International took home the World’s Leading All-Inclusive Company award for the 23rd consecutive year,” SRI said in a news release Tuesday.
The Luxury Included® resort company noted that it rose above other highly acclaimed hotel brands throughout the world with recognition across award categories.
They included – World’s Leading All-Inclusive Company 2018 – Sandals Resorts International World’s Leading All-Inclusive Family Brand 2018 – Beaches Resorts World’s Leading All-Inclusive Resort 2018 – Sandals Grenada Resort & Spa.
General Manager Sandals Halcyon Beach Resort Chris Elliott, was quoted as saying that it is customary for the resort to win awards.
“We invest in training for our team members and we are on a constant mission to upgrade our resorts. In fact, right now, we are excited to have just added a world class pool which is by all accounts the longest meandering pool in the Caribbean. Our Honeymoon Hideaway Village has been totally upgraded to a world class level for our Guests. This is why we will continue to win accolades. We understand our guests, and how to take care of them,” Elliott explained.
The World Travel Awards were established in 1993 with the purpose of acknowledging and celebrating achievements in all areas of the world’s travel and tourism industry.
Today, the World Travel Awards brand is globally recognized as the ultimate hallmark of quality, the SRI release noted.
